Barrier Island Stair

For the Barrier Island Residence, Sanders/Pace Architecture hired PATH to provide schematic designs as well as develop and fully detail a custom stair for a current residential project in Florida. Several schemes were investigated before arriving at a continuous steel-slat design which conceptually “wraps” the staircase, integrating and scaling the stair within the large lofted volume.
